Advocacy & Policy 

As a leader in the marketing communications industry, it is the duty of theĀ 4A's to not just counsel members and share insights on management and agency operations, but also to work as a dynamic force with government, lobbying groups, and other trade associations.

The Association accomplishes these goals through the dedicated staff of our Washington, DC office, by promoting diversity and inclusion at all levels of agency business, by representing members in negotiations with unions and talent, and by partnering with other trade associations and groups to promote the positive aspects of the industry.

4A's Diversity Programs increase the representation of multicultural professionals in the industry, to better produce advertising that reflects the changing balance of the consumer population.

Government Relations
The 4A's Washington, DC Office works at the federal, state and local levels to protect the interests of the advertising industry against burdensome legislation and taxation.
