Jerry McGee

EVP, Western Region
Jerry McGee, located in the 4A's Western Region, is responsible for interacting with and providing guidance to member agencies in the region on 4A's services. He is also the creative lead for the association and works with the creative community to ensure that the 4A's provides training and support to this key constituency.

He serves on the 4A's WR Finance, HR and New Business committees and is chair of the Western Region Leadership Council.

A veteran of two 4A's agencies, Jerry has served as president and CEO at J. Walter Thompson Los Angeles. Prior to that he was chairman and CEO at Ogilvy & Mather West. Jerry began his career at Ogilvy & Mather New York in 1963, where he served in a variety of positions including media buyer, producer, account supervisor, copywriter, associate creative director and creative director. He moved west in 1984 as managing director of Ogilvy & Mather Los Angeles, where he led that office for 16 years and was a member of the Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Board of Directors.

He is a past president of the Western States Advertising Association, past chairman of the Los Angeles Advertising Club and served as chairman of the 4A's Southern California Council. Currently he is the President of Think LA, a board member of the M School at Loyola University and an instructor at UCLA.
