|Laura Bartlett, CFO/COO, joined the 4A's in May of 2008. She is responsible for all financial affairs, dues, and operations and administration of the organization. She oversees human resources, IT, conferences and events, the Association Management System (AMS) and 4A's Benefits. |
Previously she was with Draftfcb for 14 years, most recently serving as executive vice president, responsible for global corporate development, including M&A. She also negotiated service contracts with major clients. Laura served as FCB's Worldwide CFO, and CFO for the company's New York agency.
Laura has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, having held financial leadership positions at Ogilvy & Mather and Nelson Communications. She began her career and established the foundation of her in-depth understanding of business at Johnson & Johnson. She was a key member of the team charged with relaunching the Tylenol brand after the poisoning incident in 1982, forecasting and monitoring the $125 million cost of the crisis/relaunch. While CFO at FCB Worldwide, she established a worldwide financial function, independent of the True North holding company, to manage and report on the global network.
Laura is a graduate of Drexel University and completed an MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is active in her church and does volunteer work with elders. She, her husband and triplet stepsons reside in Connecticut.
