Job Title: Biller (Media or Production)
Department: Finance
Reports To: Director of Finance

Summary

Pulls together information from a variety of sources to compile and prepare customer charges

Responsibilities

• Operates calculator and typewriter to compile and prepare customer charges, such as labor and material costs
• Works with Finance Manager, AP/AR Manager (or Supervisor) or Director of Finance to ensure accurate billing and documentation on client specific and agency billing activity.
• Supports the leadership of the Finance Director managing their group
• Aggressively pursues new ways to enhance overall agency profitability.

Tasks

• Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions
• Reads reports to ascertain monthly costs, schedule of work completed, and type of work performed for customer
• Computes and records charges, refunds, etc
• May type vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records or reconcile bank statements
• May be designated according to type of billing conducted, such as Production or Media

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years of experience within an advertising agency setting
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships (Excellent communication skills, both written and oral)
• Strong problem solving skills, and detail oriented
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience preferred
