Job Title: Production Coordinator
Department: Production
Reports To: Director of Graphic Services 

Summary

Works closely with all members of production to ensure on time delivery of products

Responsibilities

• Manages departmental calendars
• Ensures timely submission of departmental timesheets
• Coordinates and schedules all departmental travel arrangements
• Completes and submits all appropriate expense reports for reimbursement
• Complies to standards for the team as set forth by the department head
• Works with supervisor to foster innovative solutions
• Builds relationship at appropriate client/vendor level
• Works closely with upper management to identify and suggest solutions on how to improve departmental and team morale
• Keeps abreast of current trends and the latest technological advances
• Helps to elevate department's role in the whole advertising process

Tasks

• Ensures proper departmental scheduling (vacations, holidays etc.)
• Submits and tracks purchase orders
• Participates in weekly departmental staff meetings
• Participate in Creative Briefings as needed
• Keeps supervisor apprised of the status of work
• Prioritizes tasks and assignments to meet scheduled deadlines
• Reviews appropriate reports with Acct. Team
• Prepares Spec. Sheets for orders
• Obtains competitive bids
• Ensures disk release and proofs

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Computer literate
• Team player
• Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience preferred
