Bernstein-Rein Adds Creative Fire Power

Kansas City, MO – February 23, 2016 – Bernstein-Rein’s recruitment of proven industry talent into the agency’s senior ranks continues, with the addition of award-winning creative director Bryan Michurski who is joining the agency in the new role of Group Creative Director.

Michurski was brought in by David Smith, Executive Creative Director, who joined the agency in September after a long tenure at Los Angeles-based RPA and is in the midst of recasting B-R’s creative ranks. Michurski joins the agency following a successful tour as an independent creative director and commercial director. Before setting out on his own, he was Group Creative Director at Colle + McVoy in Minneapolis where he was best known for leading the re-introduction of the iconic Indian Motorcycle.

“Bryan is a game-changing addition to our team and his hire reflects our commitment to re-engineer the agency and the BR brand,” said David Smith. “Our passion is to connect consumers with brands in ways that stick, which is what Bryan has been doing his entire career for some of America’s coolest brands. And, as a triple-threat of Creative Director/Strategist/Director, he fits perfectly into our entrepreneurial culture.”

Before working at Colle + McVoy Michurski spent a significant portion of his career with Martin/Williams Advertising in Minneapolis. He worked on the agency’s leading national accounts where he brought innovative ideas and campaigns to businesses such as Target, Coleman, U.S. Bank, Sorel Boots, E-Trade, Payless Shoe Source and Polaris Industries, even creating the first Super Bowl ad for Staples Office Supply.

In addition to Michurski and Smith, B-R recently hired industry veteran Chris Perkins in the new role of Managing Director to run the agency’s day-to-day operations and grow its business.
