Joe Osborn Scholarship 



The Joe Osborn Memorial Scholarship Program will help assist students at the top of their creative ability in their educational pursuits. Osborn + Barr will reward two students with individual scholarships in the amount of $2,500. These scholarships will be awarded annually to students who qualify for financial assistance and meet the merit requirements. The scholarship with be administered and promoted by Osborn + Barr with the assistance of the 4A’s.

About Joe Osborn

Joe was a teacher of patience; always the calm in any storm; a teacher of humility; never taking himself or any situation too seriously; a teacher of being an entrepreneur by changing the landscape of ag and rural marketing; and a teacher in leadership with his endless contributions of working with Steve Barr and countless others to build Osborn + Barr into the success it is today.

Joe loved the arts, photography, architecture and reading. Through his passions he conveyed his belief that the arts and embracing creativity can affect all aspects of our lives for the better. Joe’s capacity to mix his conceptual and technical expertise along with his relentless vision has inspired, motivated and moved employees, clients and consumers.

And while we will all miss him as a mentor and friend, I'm comforted by the knowledge that his accomplishments and his intellect are enduring and will continue to exemplify the very best that the marketing communication field has to offer.

In his honor, Osborn + Barr is proud to honor Joe’s memory while supporting inspiring students in the field of advertising, art, design, public relations or marketing with the Joe Osborn Memorial Scholarship Fund. Osborn + Barr hopes to encourage the next generation of creative thinkers by equipping them with the resources to help advance their education. Through Joe’s legacy we also hope to encourage them to become leaders in creative innovation, collaboration and to strive to generate meaningful responses to social, cultural, and environmental challenges.
