The Bill Bernbach Diversity Scholarship, sponsored by DDB Worldwide, recognizes excellence in art direction, copywriting and design by awarding five students $5,000 each.

Scholarship Amount

$5,000, paid in one installment

Eligibility

An applicant will be considered for a scholarship if he or she meets all of the following criteria:

• Is African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, or Native American
• Demonstrates financial need
• Shows creative talent and promise
• Is a full-time student in his or her final year at one of the following 4A's participating portfolio schools: The Miami Ad School, The Ad Center at Virginia Commonwealth University, The Portfolio Center, The Creative Circus, The University of Texas at Austin, The Art Center College of Design at Pasadena
• Is a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Application Information

Applications are available at the tuition office of the participating schools. (The 4A's does not distribute applications directly to students.) Scholarship winners are announced in the fall.
