Deutsch New York Adds Firepower to Reinvigorated Leadership Team

New York – May 18, 2016Deutsch New York has hired Maggie O. Connors as EVP, Head of Business Development. Connors’ appointment is the final piece of the NY reinvigoration. Earlier this year, the Agency announced Trevor O’Brien joined as Partner, Chief Technology Officer, a new role, followed by Andrew Dawson, Partner, Chief Strategy Officer. Most recently, Dan Kelleher was appointed Partner, Chief Creative Officer. Deutsch veterans Anush Prabhu, Chief Channel Planning & Investment Officer and Erica Grau, Chief Operating Officer, round out the leadership team.

Connors joins Deutsch New York from JWT, where for the past two years – she spearheaded new business initiatives for New York and North America, as well as worked across their global network. She ran all pitches, prospecting and agency marketing—resulting in one new win a month for 14 straight months. “I am thrilled to be part of the new energy and focus at Deutsch. The foundation is set and I can’t wait to be a part of the team,” said Connors.

Prior to JWT, Maggie gained experience at agencies including Arnold Worldwide, where she served as the Director of New Business and Director of Integration on Hershey’s, Clinique, Hasbro and Timex. Early in her career, she was with Young & Rubicam working on Sony.
