Two by Four Appoints Don Durbin as Vice President, Director of Client Leadership 

CHICAGO – August 17, 2012 – Two by Four, a leading integrated marketing agency offering advertising, design, interactive, promotions and direct response services, announced today the hire of Don Durbin as Vice President, Director of Client Leadership. Durbin joins Two by Four with over 20 years of experience in developing digitally-focused, integrated solutions for iconic brands.

In this position, Durbin will serve on the agency executive management team and head the client leadership departments in both Chicago and Chattanooga offices, reporting to David Stevenson, Two by Four President and Executive Creative Director. He will be responsible for fostering client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and attaining agency financial goals.

Most recently, Durbin served as Account Services Director for Shine United in Madison, Wisconsin where he led the account services department for clients such as Amazon.com, Mag 1 Motor Oil and the Madison Mallards. Previously, he worked at Digitas/Chicago as Senior Vice President of Marketing on Miller Lite, Frosted Flakes, Hillshire Farm and Jimmy Dean accounts. Prior to that, Durbin was Senior Vice President Management Director for Element 79, where he led the agency’s relationship for Gatorade, Propel, and Tropicana accounts. Durbin has held senior positions at JWT, Campbell-Ewald and America Online. During his time at America Online, he led the first online-only launch of a vehicle in automotive history, the Volvo S60. Additionally, he has also held posts at Y&R, DDB and Baxter Healthcare Corporation.

A graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Durbin also received a Masters of Business Administration from University of Georgia. He graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, receiving a Master of Science in Advertising, his second master’s degree. During his career, Durbin has won three Effie Awards.

A Chicago native, Durbin lives in Winnetka with his wife, Melissa, and has four children.
