Andrew Kasprzycki Joins Starcom USA as EVP/Managing Director 

Chicago, IL (July 29, 2013) – Andrew Kasprzycki has joined media communications agency Starcom USA as executive vice president/managing director on the Microsoft account. He will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Chicago and will report to Starcom USA CEO Lisa Donohue and Tim Castree, who leads the global Microsoft account for Starcom MediaVest Group. Kasprzycki will also serve as a member of the Starcom management board.

With a focus on establishing and growing global media practices for Microsoft, Kasprzycki will oversee more than 150 people in the US across global, business-to-business and operations functions.

With over 17 years of digital marketing experience, Kasprzycki comes to Starcom from Xi Chicago (formerly Proximity Worldwide, a division of Energy BBDO) where he served as president at the company. During his time at Xi Chicago, he founded and led the fastest growing office in the BBDO network as well as earned multiple national and global integrated and digital marketing assignments for clients including Frito Lay, Bayer HealthCare, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Illinois State Lottery, Wrigley, State Farm Insurance, Paper Mate, Terlato Wines International and Atlantis Hotels & Resorts, among others. While at the helm, Kasprzycki achieved exponential growth for the agency, growing from one employee in 2008 to a multi-faceted, award-winning integrated marketing unit with more than 85 people in less than four years.

Throughout his career, Kasprzycki has also held positions at Energy BBDO, Tribal DDB Worldwide, Euro RSCG Chicago and the Chicago Tribune Company. He began his career as an international business development manager at the European Internet Network in Prague, Czech Republic. Kasprzycki holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis.
