Cindy Ransier Joins Starcom USA as VP, Director 

Los Angeles, CA (July 23, 2013) – Cindy Ransier has joined media communications agency Starcom USA as vice president/director overseeing the agency’s Del Monte account. She will be based out of Starcom’s Los Angeles office and will report to Starcom SVP, Media Director Darilyn Stratton in the office led by Starcom LA President Kathy Ring. In addition to her client duties, Ransier will also focus on management and agency initiatives for the office.

With nearly two decades of integrated marketing experience, Ransier comes to Starcom from the Phelps Group where she served as vice president of media. During her time there, her responsibilities included new business development and brand and media strategy, which resulted in two national account wins in four months as well as numerous new product launches. Prior, Ransier served as vice president/media director at Dentsu America, where she led strategy, planning, buying and new business efforts for all of the agency’s West Coast clients, including Canon USA, Toyota Corporate, Suzuki Motorcycles, Bell Sports and ExpressJet Airlines. While at Dentsu, Ransier served as a member of the management team and developed the agency’s only broadcast offering to service US and global needs.

Throughout her career, Ransier has also held positions at Castle Advertising, Horizon Media and Western International Media. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social ecology from the University of California at Irvine.
