New York, NY (August 28, 2013) – Daniel Vassallo has joined media communications agency Starcom USA as vice president/digital director on the agency’s Novartis account. He will be based out of Starcom’s New York office and will report to Senior Vice President/Director Lily Chakrabarty.
Vassallo comes to Starcom from the JAR Group where he served as vice president of performance media, search and social marketing. During his time there, he established the agency’s digital media practice and was responsible for strategy development, execution, measurement and optimization across digital media, search and social marketing campaigns. Prior, Vassallo served as vice president/director of media at Digitas Health, where he built an entire digital media and search marketing team while expanding the client base from four to sixteen brands across five manufacturers.
Throughout his career, Vassallo has also held positions at Greater Than One, Trafficbuyer Digital, Magnet Media, Everyonesmile.com and 24/7 Real Media. He holds a bachelor of arts in communications from State University of New York at Buffalo.
