July 15, 2013, New York, NY – IPG Mediabrands announced today that it is extending the reach of rapport London, its leading Out-of-Home agency, which has grown 40% over the last two years and which lists London’s top out-of-home spenders as clients, to the U.S. Effective immediately, IPG Mediabrands will rebrand its existing U.S.-based OOH unit, OAG, as rapport U.S. Mike Cooper, an experienced out-of-home specialist, and previously of British Sky Broadcasting has been named President of rapport U.S. The company has also rebranded its leading OOH unit in India, formerly named Lintas Initiative Outdoor (LIO) to rapport India. It will be run by CEO Suresh Balakrishna.
rapport is housed under ORION Holdings, a division of IPG Mediabrands and part of the Interpublic Group (NYSE:IPG).

Mike Cooper, who has held leadership positions in out-of-home both in London and the U.S., on the client side and the agency side, joins rapport from British Sky Broadcasting in the U.K., where he served as Director of Project Management. Prior to that, he had served as Managing Director at rapport London. While there, he led the team on a new business winning streak, which brought in big name accounts including Samsung & Suzuki. He will report to Roy Jeans.
