Karen Spiegel is joining Draftfcb to oversee global communications strategy for the creative network; she joins the agency from R/GA, where she held a similar role. At Draftfcb, Spiegel will focus on leveraging the global work produced by the agency network and articulating the Draftfcb story across channels and constituents, while overseeing all internal and external communications. The news was announced by Carter Murray, Global CEO of Draftfcb.

During her twelve years with R/GA, Spiegel positioned the agency as a thought leader in digital marketing, bringing widespread acclaim to the company and its expanding international footprint in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. She partnered with leading brands such as L’Oreal, Nike, MasterCard, McCormick and Unilever to champion the innovative quality of their work, as well as broaden the visibility of the agency that produced it.
Prior to R/GA, Spiegel held a variety of roles from working at other interactive agencies, to fashion and media communications. She holds a JD from the University of Santa Clara with a specialization in intellectual property and is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania.
