FEBRUARY 26, 2013 – BBDO North America announced today that Mark Cadman (49) will be joining the agency in the role of EVP, Managing Director. Cadman will report to Troy Ruhanen, Chairman & CEO, the Americas, and be responsible for managing the AT&T business across North America which is handled by BBDO's Atlanta, New York and San Francisco agencies. Cadman was most recently CEO of Publicis West, Seattle and prior to that was CEO of Euro RSCG London, a top ten agency in the UK.
"Mark worked for AMV BBDO early in his career as an Account Director. Now he has gone full circle and is returning to BBDO to lead one of our premier accounts," said Ruhanen. Cadman has 25 years' experience in advertising, beginning in account management at DDB New York. In London, in addition to working at AMV BBDO, he was Head of Account Management at Ammirati Puris Lintas, a Managing Director at both Lowe and JWT, and named CEO at Euro RSCG. His client experiences include EDF Energy, Kellogg, Tesco, T-Mobile, Unilever, Vodafone and Volvo, among other accounts. He's successfully grown companies, strengthened relationships and built strong teams. His contributions have been recognized: Euro RSCG London was named Agency of the Year within the Euro RSCG network and his Tesco client was named Advertiser of the Year by Campaign magazine while at Lowe.
Cadman is expected to join BBDO in early March.
