The press is full of news on the latest accounts on the move, but seldom do they address accounts that stay married. Not losing an account is equivalent to winning one.
 
So...who at your agency (and client) is responsible to make sure the relationship is in good shape?

Large vs. Small Agencies

This is the beauty of small agencies... efficiency, communication, and personal relationships are easier to culminate in a closer tight knit environment... high turnover of the mega agencies make client relationships a glimpse of the past. Personal attention to clients, treating the agency as a service, rather than a cost cutting entity that continually gets beat down due to their economic position... Stripping away the hierarchy to reveal innovative, forward thinking work, maybe this will be a positive effect of this economic downturn.
