Nancy Hill, president and CEO, American Association of Advertising Agencies, today unveiled the newly redesigned flagship Web site of the AAAA, during her opening remarks at the 2008 Leadership Conference, currently being held at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, April 28–30.
Sporting a more aesthetically pleasing, contemporary design, the new AAAA Web site, www.aaaa.org, features improved Web site navigation and provides AAAA members and non-members with easier access to content. The site has a robust new search functionality and is aimed at increasing user engagement through the ranking and tagging of articles. The new Web site is the first phase of a digital communications platform that will include social networking and online collaboration.
AAAA Agency Search, a component of the site aimed at assisting marketers and consultants, now allows for deeper search through expanded criteria, including name, location, clients and brands, specialized services and keywords. Searchers also have the ability to save profiles for future comparisons and agencies have a better new business platform in which to present themselves.
“Our new Web site will serve as our primary communications channel to our members and the outside world,” said Nancy Hill. “It will provide a better source of industry-related information and a clearer channel of communications between AAAA members and their Association. And it will serve as the dynamic face of our industry to the next generation who might be exploring entering our business.”
Partners that worked on the development of the new AAAA Web site include Washington-based consultancy DSK Solutions, Inc., for the integration of Web site into the association database and the development of the new AAAA Agency Search; Wilton, CT-based design and custom publishing company Imagemark, LLC for design, information architecture and taxonomy; and Winchester, VA-based Susquehanna Technologies, for installation and development of the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Content Management System and Web site.
