4A’s Names Chick Foxgrover Chief Digital Officer 

NEW YORK—(December 5, 2013) – The 4A’s, the leading trade association representing the advertising agency business, announced today that it has named Chick Foxgrover Chief Digital Officer (CDO). 

Mr. Foxgrover joined the association in 2008 as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, with responsibility for digital strategy and practice as well as overseeing the upgrade and modernization of the association's technology and digital presence.

In his new role Mr. Foxgrover will lead the outreach to digital professionals in advertising, focusing on the discovery of important advances in digital marketing technology and practices. He will continue to develop the digital strategy for the 4A’s, overseeing the management of the association’s important knowledge assets, and serve 4A’s members with digital insights and best practices.

“Chick is an extraordinary thought leader and innovative creative technologist,” said Nancy Hill, President-CEO, 4A’s.  “He has made the 4A’s a more valuable and effective organization for our members and allowed us to become the voice addressing how evolving technologies will advance the advertising industry.  His strong relationships with C-level technologists and leaders both within and outside advertising have provided us many collaborative opportunities.”

Mr. Foxgrover has brought together the expanding community of creative and digital technologists with the creation of the 4A’s Creative Technology Committee. In 2011, he spearheaded the launch of CreateTech, the premier annual conference focused on the rapidly advancing field of creative technology.  Mr. Foxgrover also speaks at other technology conferences and works with technology and future-oriented organizations on behalf of the association and the industry.

Previous to joining the 4A’s, Mr. Foxgrover served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Interactive for Wechsler Ross & Partners; Vice President and Director of Creative Technologies for Foote Cone & Belding, New York; Manager of Desktop Publishing Technologies for Citibank. He also cofounded Foxpath IND, a digital publishing consultancy.
