SFW Adds Positions and Continues to Hire

Greensboro, N.C. (Feb. 10, 2017) – SFW, a Greensboro-based marketing agency, recently added positions in research, account management, content and social media to its staff, to better serve their growing client list.

Megan Frank began full-time with SFW as a research analyst in January 2017, after working part-time for two months. Frank earned her MBA from NC State University and will conduct data analyses/strategic assessments, competitive analyses and secondary research, reporting to the director of research and strategy. Thomas Donahue joins SFW as a copywriter. A former bass player for a nationally touring power-pop rock group, Donahue honed his writing skills at Common Giant Creative, where he was responsible for forging brand stories to establish the client’s voice and tone, along with writing copy for various forms of traditional and digital media.

Trisha Rush joins SFW as an account coordinator, managing marketing projects to completion for clients including Kindermusik International, Primo Water and Channellock. Rush earned her Bachelor of Arts from Bryan College, and previously worked as a design consultant at Furnitureland South, Inc. Maury Kennedy was vice president of sales and marketing for SFW client Palm Harbor Homes for 12 years. He now joins SFW as general manager, social media. In this role, Kennedy leads a social media marketing division that provides social media, photography and videography services to clients including Grandover Resort, Trek Bicycle Store and Primo Water.

“I’ve always admired and respected everyone at SFW,” says Kennedy. “It was an easy decision to come work here because, having been on the client-side of their business, I knew their work ethic and their commitment to creating wins for their clients. I look forward to all that I can learn and accomplish as a part of this team of brilliant marketers.”

SFW is also currently hiring for business development as well as a digital art director and digital lead. “It’s always an exciting time when we onboard new players,” says Ged King, CEO. “As our client list continues to grow, and we add more clients doing large-scale research, digital, social and public relations work, we need to make sure we have the right people in place. We put a lot of effort into hiring the right people and we’re all looking forward to the impact they’ll help us make.”
