ANA/4A's Joint Policy Committee on Talent Relations

The ANA and 4A’s Joint Policy Committee on Talent Union Relations (JPC) continued its extensive in-depth analysis of the results of the proposals generated from the joint industry/union study on alternative methods of compensation to performers in commercials. With the input of agencies, advertisers, media companies, talent payroll companies and outside consultants, extensive data has been and will continue to be collected and analyzed to assess the economic impact of any proposals, their applicability to improved measures of ROI for advertisers as well as the impact of issues relating to possible implementation.

In addition, the JPC conducted many industry seminars and Webinars to assist those segments of the industry that may be impacted by any proposed changes to understand the full impost of these proposals. Concurrently, the JPC conducted an in-depth survey and analysis of the current provisions of the SAG and AFTRA commercials agreements in preparation for the collective bargaining negotiations with the unions which are currently taking place.
