4A’s Accelerate Conference Heads to Los Angeles in 2019

April 10, 2018 (New York/Los Angeles)—On the heels of its 2018 Accelerate conference, the 4A’s, the leading trade organization for marketing communication agencies, announced today that next year’s conference will be held at the InterContinental hotel in downtown Los Angeles, April 1–3.

Accelerate 2018—formerly known as Transformation—wrapped up in Miami this week and brought together senior executives and industry leaders from across the advertising, marketing and media ecosystem.

With a mix of keynotes, panels, fireside chats and interactive workshops, the conference programming celebrated insightful creativity, its impact on commerce and its influence on culture.

Speakers included Marc Pritchard, chief brand officer of P&G; Allan Thygesen, president, Americas, at Google; Nada Stirratt, vice president of global marketing solutions, North America, at Facebook; Arthur Sadoun, chairman and CEO, Publicis Groupe; Julie Rieger, president, chief data strategist & head of media, 20th Century Fox Film; Ken Auletta, bestselling author and writer for The New Yorker; and John Leguizamo, actor and partner, NGL Creative; among many others.

The conference offered afternoon Learning Track sessions, which included “Introduction to Courageous Conversations about Race” and “Improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theatre,” through which attendees could preview the new workshops that will be offered in the 4A’s partnership with UCB. Quebec-based Cirque du Soleil also hosted an interactive workshop designed to stimulate creativity, curiosity and innovation.
