4A’s Carolinas Council Names 2013 Recipients of Carolinas Agency Experience Summer Internships

June 20, 2013 – Paige Warmus, a 2013 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Moira Reilly, a rising senior at Wake Forest University have been named recipients of the 2013 Carolinas Agency Experience paid summer internships by the 4A’s Carolinas Council. The internship program recognizes UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest students who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field of marketing communications.

As part of this innovative 4A’s program, the winning students are then able to choose the agency they wish to intern with from a list of potential host agencies throughout the Carolinas. Warmus, from Raleigh, North Carolina, and with her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, will intern in account management with McKinney in Durham, North Carolina, Reilly, from Media, Pennsylvania, is majoring in Business and Enterprise Management, and is interning with Woodbine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in account management and digital engagement.

“This year’s Carolinas Agency Experience program has been our most successful to date in terms of attracting passionate marketing communications students and active participation among the Carolinas Council member agencies,” said Brad Bennett, Council Chair and CEO of Wildfire & Keystone Marketing, Winston-Salem. “Our Council’s mission is to attract and retain great young talent in the Carolinas, and we achieved a new record in terms of the number of quality student applications in 2013.
