4A’s Hires Advertising Industry Veteran Bill Tucker Executive Vice President, Media Relations

New York, NY – December 13, 2013 – The 4A’s, the leading trade association representing the advertising agency business, announced today that industry media agency management specialist Bill Tucker will be joining the association in January, 2014 as Executive Vice President, Media Relations. He will be based at the 4A’s headquarters in New York.

Tucker will oversee all of the 4A’s media committees and task forces and serve as the association’s central liaison with the media community. In addition, he will work on developing strategic partnerships for 4A’s signature events including the annual Transformation Conference and other initiatives, as well as provide data and analytic expertise to the association and its members.

Tucker has held prominent leadership roles for several years in the industry, and has most recently served as President Global Client Operations for Starcom Mediavest Group, where he has been engaged since 1999. Previously, he held roles including Chief Executive Officer for MediaVest, U.S.; and President, Client Services and Agency Operations, MediaVest New York as well as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, MediaVest New York. He has also worked with NW Ayer & Partners New York; North Castle Partners; Chiat Day Advertising; and Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising. Tucker has regularly served as a 4A’s Media Policy Committee member throughout his career.

Tucker earned his Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and attended New York University’s Stern MBA program. He serves on the Villanova School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board, was also an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Stern Undergraduate program and was named Ad Age Media Maven in 2009.
