Ad Council launches coronavirus PSAs

The Ad Council is partnering with the White House, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to launch PSAs to reach high-risk populations as well as the general public with messages around social distancing (#AloneTogether), personal hygiene, and mental health, and to drive to the CDC’s coronavirus site.

Additional coronavirus efforts by the Ad Council, founded and still supported by the 4A’s, include:

  • A multichannel campaign on social distancing, with ViacomCBS
  • A digital asset providing customized coronavirus information, with The Atlantic
  • National broadcast PSAs featuring the U.S. Surgeon General
  • Messaging on social distancing, high-risk populations, and other COVID-19 topics, with iHeartMedia
  • Messaging for parents and families, with ABC/Disney

Campaign assets are located here.

The Ad Council recommends ways agencies and marketing professionals can help:

  • Supporting the campaign by donating media
  • Customizing and promoting the messaging on additional platforms
  • Identifying additional distribution platforms
  • Sharing the content with your employees and encouraging them to amplify the messages on their networks
