4A's Diversity Programs are intended to increase the representation of multicultural professionals at all levels of the agency business to better produce advertising that reflects the changing ethnic and racial balance of the consumer population of the United States.
Pursuit of Passion: Diversity in Advertising
The short film “Pursuit of Passion: Diversity in Advertising” -- created in partnership by the 4A's and the VCU BrandCenter -- aims to inform and inspire tomorrow’s Mad Men and Women about careers in advertising/marketing.
The High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media (IAM)
Established in 2008 with the guidance of the 4A's, IAM is the first public high school dedicated to teaching young individuals about advertising, design and media.
Multicultural Advertising Intern Program
Since 1973, MAIP has introduced over 2,400 diverse professional to the world of advertising through a ten-week, paid professional development internship. Over 100 interns are placed at more than 70 agencies nationwide to learn fundamental, transferable skills, that will prepare them for our industry.
Through the 4A's Foundation, scholarships are granted to students of diverse ethnic backgrounds at post-graduate portfolio schools in an effort to increase diversity of thought and talent in agencies.
