Job Title: Print Traffic Manager (may be called Project Manager)
Department: Production
Reports To: Director of Print Traffic


Liaisons with other departments: manages traffic on projects in a timely, efficient manner.  Ensures all information forms are completed and delivered in a comprehensive, accurate and timely fashion.


•    Maintains complete routing files for all projects
•    Generates and disseminates status reports
•  Tracks and updates reports with any pertinent info about client projects
(This includes any attendant financial information)
•    Makes sure schedules are adhered to
•    Manages ongoing flow of work in and out of studio
•    Complies with quality standards for the team as set forth by department head
•    Works with Studio, Art Buyers, Creative Directors, Account Management and production to generate the schedule for overall project completion and updates as needed, notifying all appropriate parties
•    Works closely with upper management to identify and suggest solutions on how to improve departmental and team morale


• Attends interdepartmental briefings
• Updates schedules/estimates as needed
• Routes mechanicals/proofs to team members to review
• Releases mechanicals to Production
• Attends “post-mortem” meetings
• Participates in weekly departmental staff meetings
• Keeps supervisor apprised of the status of work


• Must have l+ years of experience within marketing or comparable industry
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Computer literate
• Team player
• Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience preferred
