The 4A’s announces that Courtney Cotrupe, president of Partners + Napier, has been named chair of the NY State Council. She succeeds Bill Murtha, recently retired CEO of Roberts Communications, which was acquired by Partners + Napier in October 2017.
The 4A’s, the leading trade organization for marketing communication agencies, today announced several notable shifts and appointments to its board of directors. Effective immediately, Sharon Napier, CEO of Partners + Napier, has moved from board secretary/treasurer to the co-vice chair role left vacant last year by Greg Stern, following the BSSP CEO’s appointment to 4A’s chairman. Christine Fruechte, CEO of Colle McVoy, replaces Napier as secretary/treasurer.
DeRoller has led and built the newly rebranded Vine Creative Studios group over the course of her 13-year career at the agency, most recently as Vice President/Creative & Account Director.
The acquisition also enhances and expands upon Partners + Napier’s existing relationships with Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Univera Healthcare, and Xerox, while adding two new clients to its roster: ITT and Jewish Senior Life.
Citing increased creative momentum that has contributed to Partners + Napier’s continued growth, Executive Creative Director Pete VonDerLinn is reinforcing the agency’s creative chops with the addition of two group creative directors, a brand-new role at the Rochester-based shop.
