Archer Malmo Adds Talent Across Agency Disciplines

Memphis, TN – October 9, 2015 – Archer Malmo, a leading independent brand communications agency, today announced eight recent new hires in its Memphis office and seven in its recently acquired office in Austin, Texas. New hires include Jennifer Blome, Fred Nichols, Julia Proctor and Katie Santos to account services; Daniel Crumrine and Cedric Guerin to creative; Cassie Becker and Jordan Crump to public relations; Geoff Davis, Ryan Hobert, Elyse Pickle and Cindy Thompsen to digital; Monica Smith to accounting; Lucas Peterson to operations; and Katie Tobin to brand strategy and research, bringing the agency’s total headcount to 185.

New hires include:

Austin, Texas

  • Daniel Crumrine was hired as a senior copywriter. Prior, Crumrine served in the same role at Leo Burnett and has done freelance work for several national brands.
  • Cedric Guerin was hired as a senior art director. Previously Guerin worked in the same role at Razorfish, a digital marketing agency.
  • Ryan Hobert joins the agency as a senior digital analyst. Prior, Hobert worked at TicketCity as a search engine marketing manager where he oversaw SEO and paid search initiatives.
  • Julia Proctor was hired as an account supervisor. Previously, Proctor served as account supervisor at Rauxa and digital planning manager at ansira, both advertising and marketing agencies.
  • Katie Santos was hired as a new account coordinator. Previously, Santos served as marketing coordinator at the A.D. Morgan Corporation, a general contracting company in Tampa, Florida.
  • Cindy Thompsen joins the agency as a senior digital producer. Prior, Thompsen provided freelance services to both Tocquigny and T3 in Austin, and Jack Morton Worldwide in New York.
  • Katie Tobin was hired as a senior brand strategist and will lead research and brand development for many of the agency’s clients. Prior to joining Archer Malmo, Tobin owned her own strategic planning firm for 12 years and has more than 17 years of experience in strategic planning and marketing communications.

Memphis, Tennessee

  • Cassie Becker was hired as a new public relations specialist. Becker previously served in a similar role at GROWMARK, Inc., a regional agricultural cooperative.
  • Jennifer Blome is a new account coordinator on agency’s account service team. Blome is a recent graduate of the University of Mississippi and previously interned at Terminix and Signature Advertising in Memphis.
  • Jordan Crump joins the agency as a senior public relations specialist. She previously served in a similar role at ALSAC, the fundraising arm of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and as public information officer at the Humane Society of the United States in Washington, D.C. She also worked at Edelman while in D.C.
  • Geoff Davis is a new junior digital developer. Davis recently served as an Archer Malmo intern after graduating from Harding University earlier this year and also previously interned at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
  • Fred Nichols was hired as a vice president and account director for the agency’s agriculture division. Nichols has more than 25 years’ experience and was previously an account director and senior strategist at the McCormick Company and account director at DDB/Chicago, where he led integrated marketing campaigns for a number of clients in the agriculture sector.
  • Lucas Peterson is a new part-time operations coordinator. Most recently, Peterson was an independent recording producer and sound engineer.
  • Elyse Pickle joins the agency as a senior digital marketing specialist Pickle previously served as digital managing producer for the St. Louis Rams and as digital strategist and project manager for FleishmanHillard.
  • Monica Smith is a new accounting coordinator. Previously, Smith provided administration and billing support and facilitated new hire orientations for both Lyons Cleaners Enterprises and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.

Additionally, Christina Comas on the agency’s retail team, as well as Jordan Pegram and Leigh Eisenberg on the account service team, were all promoted to account executive from account manager.
