Bill Starkey Elevated to Executive Creative Director by quench

Bill Starkey has been promoted to Executive Creative Director of quench, an agency in Philadelphia,  Harrisburg, and Chicago that specializes in food and beverage marketing and consumer packaged goods. He joined quench as Creative Director in April 2018.

 

In this new role, he oversees creative planning, design, and execution for quench clients including Turkey Hill Dairy, Herr’s, and Bimbo, as well as mentoring staff and overseeing all creative output from the agency’s Philadelphia office. Additionally, he assists in the strategic and creative input across quench’s portfolio of clients including StarKist, Del Monte, Sun-Maid, and others. He reports to quench Chief Creative Officer James Madsen.

Before joining quench in 2018, Bill was Creative Director for agencies STICK and MOVE and Red Tettemer & Partners in Philadelphia, and for 1 Trick Pony in Hammonton, NJ. Previously, as a Group Creative Director/Vice President at Mullen, he helped the Carolina shop win its first Cannes Lion. He also worked as Art Director for Long Haymes Carr in Winston-Salem, NC, after launching his agency career in Baltimore with Trahan Burden and Charles. In addition to quench clients, accounts Bill has worked on include Under Armour, Dial for Men, Alaska Airlines, HBO, Leatherman Tools, The Baltimore Orioles, Sealy Mattresses, and Virgin Hotels.

 

A graduate of the University of Delaware’s Visual Communications program, Starkey is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Communication Design at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
