Creative Digital Agency Wins Platinum Award at 2020 Hermes Creative Awards

SAN RAMON, Calif. (April 6, 2020) –Creative Digital Agency (CDA)’s work for home appliance brand Raycop was honored today with the Platinum award for the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards, one of the oldest and largest international creative competition for creative professionals in the world.

The winning creative, a cross-media video spot called “Clean Scene Investigators” was honored with the Platinum Award in the Video Marketing Product category. Other nominees for the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards include AARP, CarMax, Dell Technologies, PepsiCo and Stanford University.

CDA was brought on to help international vacuum company, Raycop, expand into the North American market by producing a video spot for their newest product launch. Raycop, originally founded in South Korea, achieved 12% market saturation in Japan, yet faced many of the challenges familiar to brands breaking into a new market.

“The challenge was that we weren’t just launching a new vacuum, we were launching a whole new way for people to vacuum,” says Kevin Almeida, Managing Director at CDA, who wrote and produced the spot. “Raycop is completely re-thinking the way people clean their homes, and they needed a video that was entertaining and memorable while still managing to educate consumers about all the new technology at play.”

Each year, competition judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing and communication programs.
