Deutsch NY Elevates Daniel Murphy to EVP, Director of Digital

January 15, 2019 – Deutsch New York has announced the promotion of Daniel Murphy to EVP, director of digital. Promoted from SVP, director of digital production, Murphy joined Deutsch from Google Creative Lab in 2017 and is involved in new business initiatives, and responsible for securing multiple thought leadership projects for existing clients. Murphy will report directly to Val DiFebo, CEO of Deutsch’s New York office.

Murphy joined Deutsch from Google Creative Lab, where he worked on Android’s “Be Together. Not the Same” campaign launch and the Androidify app, as well as Google Trend’s FrightGeist–the latter won a Webby Award for Best Visual Design. Prior to Google he was with BBDO as Group Executive Interactive Producer, where he secured an AICP Next award and a Cannes Cyber Lion for Lowe’s “Fix-in-Six” campaign. He also spent time at Eleven, as Director of Interactive Production, and held integrated producer roles at Saatchi & Saatchi as well as CP+B, working on projects like Toyota’s 4Runner launch and Domino’s Pizza Tracker, respectively.
