The 4A’s Minneapolis Pitch Boot Camp is an intense nine-week training course simulating a new business pitch. It’s designed to teach the next generation of advertising leaders the ins and outs of pitching and winning new business.
The 4A’s Minneapolis Pitch Boot Camp – formerly the Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS) – has trained some of the best and brightest industry professionals in the advertising business. In fact, many of today’s top agency executives are Minneapolis Pitch Boot Camp graduates.
Working with a real client, participants are assigned to a team acting as ‘mini-agencies’ and are briefed on a brand and its business challenge. Each week, they will learn key new business skills from speakers at top agencies in Minneapolis. From brand discovery through activation, the lessons culminate in a final presentation given to the client and a panel of judges. Make no mistake, this is a competition and students participate to win, just like a real pitch. The course runs from March 5 through May 3, 2019. Classes take place on Tuesday nights at the downtown Minneapolis campus of the University of St. Thomas. The final pitch presentations will be held on Friday, May 3.

The program is designed for promising agency professionals with two to five years of experience across all disciplines—creative, media, research, planning, account management, public relations, direct marketing, digital, social and mobile.

After graduating from Pitch Boot Camp, participants will return to work with a better understanding of the big picture, how a new business pitch works and how they can contribute to winning.
