Donna has over 25 years experience working within and leading global ad agencies such as Arnold Worldwide, Grey, and VaynerMedia, as well as marketing and research consultancies, CPG, FMCG, off-price and specialty retail organizations, global toy, entertainment, and consumer licensed products companies.
Prior to launching SKY-D8 Consulting & Ideation Studio, Donna was the EVP of Product Development & Marketing at The NPD Group where she led practice-specific portfolio strategy, short- and long-term revenue planning and evaluated and managed key strategic partnerships. She also held a senior executive team role at Kantar Consulting (former Kantar Retail), part of WPP, overseeing the product portfolio, brand marketing, PR and global events. While at Kantar, she also developed a Women’s Leadership Network and Mentoring program and was enlisted to lead a major re-branding initiative. Before Kantar, Donna spent 10 years on the client side as a brand strategist and marketer including time at Hasbro, The J. Jill Group and Ocean Spray Cranberries.
Donna is currently a member of the 4A’s Executive Leadership team and also serves as a Women In Toys NYC Chapter Co-Chair. Donna has won several Innovation, CEO and Presidential Awards while at Hasbro, along with a Wonder Women in Toy Award for her leadership and ability to re-invent global brands and develop revenue-generating multi-category global franchise plans, brand positioning statements, and award-winning digital content and ad campaigns with the agencies she has partnered with.
As part of fueling her passion for creativity in her spare time, Donna has written a children’s book, as well as a TV pilot and full season of episodic log lines in tandem with the development of two of her own proprietary childrens’ intellectual properties.
