About the 4A's

The 4A’s was founded as a national trade association to represent U.S. advertising agencies. These days, we provide counsel to members on everything from new business to succession planning to media transparency.

The 4A’s mission is to empower agencies to thrive in a constantly changing world by promoting insightful creativity that drives commerce, moving the industry forward, and influences culture. 

We are inspired by our past and bullish about the future.

Founded in 1917, The 4A’s was established, to promote, advance and defend the interests of our member agencies, their employees and the industry at large. The organization serves 700+ member agencies across 1,300 offices, which control more than 85% of total U.S. advertising spend.
