Simon has 30 years of global experience crafting and implementing talent and engagement strategies. His focus has been on talent development through learning, designing strategies and driving process improvement. Simon has also been an advocate and leader for diversity & inclusion as well as implementing candidate & employee engagement tools to attract and retain great talent to drive success and growth across numerous businesses, both on the client and agency side. Prior to joining the 4A’s Simon was with Facebook where he oversaw creative and brand recruiting & diversity initiatives across their portfolio of apps and products. Simon held various positions within agencies including EVP of Talent & Diversity for IPG Mediabrands where he led programs connecting multicultural youth to the industry. Prior to IPG, Simon was SVP, Global Talent at Starcom MediaVest Group and was also was part of the 4A’s Diversity Steering Committee.

Born in Kenya, East Africa, Simon was raised in New Zealand and Australia and has lived in the US for 14 years. With a passion to lift the next generation into sustainable career opportunities within advertising and marketing, Simon works with a number of organizations to further the interests of both the LGBTQI community as well as work to create early career opportunities to diverse youth through education assistance, internships, job training and professional mentoring.
