Laughlin Constable Wins National PR Award for National Awareness and Educations Campaign on Behalf of Crisis Prevention Institute

Agency honored among some of the world’s largest agencies and consumer brands

MILWAUKEE (May 17, 2021) – Laughlin Constable today announced that it has been awarded a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Bronze Anvil Award, a prestigious national award for the PR industry that recognizes outstanding achievements in public relations.

The agency, along with client Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), was awarded the recognition for its public awareness and education work with the world leader in de-escalation training amid the pandemic.

As anxiety and tensions grew among the public and frontline workers during the 2020 pandemic, CPI and LC aimed to educate new industries and the public about CPI’s expertise through a trade and GenPop, multiphased media relations campaign. Focusing on heightened tension due to the pandemic and civil and political unrest, the campaign resulted in nearly 500 pieces of news with a reach of more than 609 million, including coverage in New York Times, HuffPost, Fast Company and Germany’s Deutschland Radio, and significant PRdriven increases in web traffic and sales queries.

“Our PR team is continuously producing creative, well-executed and results-driven campaigns, and we are extremely honored that again Laughlin Constable was recognized nationally for our expertise in the public relations industry,” said Laughlin Constable President and CEO Mat Lignel.

More than 358 brands and agencies nationwide entered the 2021 PRSA Bronze Anvil competition, and Laughlin Constable is among only 33 to receive this recognition.

In addition to this award, the Laughlin Constable team was awarded two 2021 Bronze Anvil Awards of Commendation for work with clients UScellular and O&H Danish Bakery.
