Award-winning global media agency Mediahub today announced that it has appointed industry veteran Alejandro Clabiorne as Executive Director, New York, overseeing the growth and expansion of the agency’s flagship New York office. Joining the senior leadership team, Clabiorne will also play an active role in key client relationships like Dropbox, TracFone, and Rémy Cointreau, as well as recruiting, nurturing, and managing the people and culture of the office. He will report to Sean Corcoran, U.S. President, Mediahub.
“Marketers increasingly see the need to challenge the conventions of their categories in order to break through with consumers, and creative media is one of the key levers to do so. Alejandro’s dynamic leadership, global experience and entrepreneurial approach are exactly the energy we need in New York, and will help us continue to build our brand, deliver client solutions that challenge convention, and drive business outcomes,” said Corcoran.
Mediahub’s New York office has doubled in size since 2018, driven by both new business as well as existing client expansion. Among recent wins, the agency was awarded media responsibilities for TracFone in October, followed closely by winning the NBA’s coveted media assignment in November. Both are led from New York.
Clabiorne joins from PHD, where he was previously CEO, Latin America and Global Executive Sponsor for Diversity, overseeing 350+ people across 16 markets, growing the region 4x since joining in 2014. With more than 20 years’ experience managing client relationships and business strategy for companies including Omnicom Media Group, LVMH, and Carat, he also brings to Mediahub a passion for and commitment to building diverse, representative and inclusive cultures, which will continue to be a key focus.
“Mediahub has incredible momentum right now. The agency’s challenger mindset and creative approach to media really stand out with clients of all sizes who want to use media to build their brands long-term,” said Clabiorne. “It’s an incredible opportunity to join the agency at this pivotal point, be part of that growth story, and help lead the next stage of our evolution, especially in our thriving New York office, the epicenter of the media industry. I can’t wait to get started,” he added.
