Marketing agency R&R Partners has hired Emilie Vasu as director of Business Development, R&R’s chief marketing officer, Brian Hoar, announced today.
In this new role, Vasu is responsible for driving the agency’s growth and development efforts that span across R&R’s entire network, which includes eight offices in the U.S. and one in Mexico City, MX. Known for having a keen intuition for finding the perfect agency-client matches and driving business impact, she will leverage her strong industry reputation, long-standing relationships and proactive outreach efforts to aid in the cultivation of new brand partnerships for R&R.

Before joining R&R, Vasu was managing director/director of client services at SET Creative in New York, where she oversaw the reimagining and national rollout of Verizon’s entire retail footprint. She also led and won account pitches for Sonos and American Eagle within a six-month time period while simultaneously locking in New Balance as an AOR client..
Prior to that, Vasu was vice president/group director of business development for North America at DigitasLBi, NY, where she drove organic and new business efforts for Under Armour, Lego, NBC Universal, and the Unilever brands roster, among others. While director of business development at JWT, NY, she pitched and won Google’s Gone Google business; and with a tiger team of talent, she won the global PUMA account against tremendous odds..
