Survey of America’s Physicians: COVID-19 Impact

The Physicians Foundation is conducting three surveys on the impact COVID-19 is having on physicians.

The first survey focuses on the impact of physicians’ practices and public health. Findings include:

  • Physician office closures, reduced staffing, and loss of income
  • Increase in hospital influence over delivery of health care
  • Rise of telemedicine
  • Impact of employment changes on patient loss of health insurance
  • Attitudes towards opening businesses, schools, and public places.
