The Physicians Foundation is conducting three surveys on the impact COVID-19 is having on physicians.
The first survey focuses on the impact of physicians’ practices and public health. Findings include:
- Physician office closures, reduced staffing, and loss of income
- Increase in hospital influence over delivery of health care
- Rise of telemedicine
- Impact of employment changes on patient loss of health insurance
- Attitudes towards opening businesses, schools, and public places.
