Research Pioneer Herta Herzog Rises to Two Top Positions

Dr. Herta Herzog became one of the founding partners in Jack Tinker & Partners, the industry’s first creative think tank, and then in 1961 was also name chairman of Interpublic’s Marplan research division.

Recognized as a pioneer in the development of focus groups and other qualitative research techniques, she had first joined McCann in 1943 and became its New York research director in the 1950s.
