Crowley Webb Prepares to Work Around the Clock for You and Who

Crowley Webb, a full-service advertising agency in Buffalo, New York, announced January 26 as the official start of the Twenty-Five Hour Workday for local startup business, You and Who.

Crowley Webb created the Twenty-Five Hour Workday contest to celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2011. The contest goal was to give away a free marketing campaign to a worthy startup in Western New York. The agency received more than 40 entries, which they narrowed to three finalists who were charged with getting votes on Crowley Webb’s website. After 15,000 votes were cast, You and Who was named the winner. You and Who works with artists from around the country to design custom T-shirts. For each shirt sold, the company donates matching items and meals to organizations that help those in need.

Crowley Webb will work for 25 hours striaght to create a campaign that will strengthen You and Who’s brand presence in their current markets, as well as help the company expand into new cities. The prize will include a marketing strategy, creative concepts and executions, website consultation and media strategy.

“It won’t be the first all-nighter here,” said Dave Buck, President of Crowley Webb. “But it certainly will be the most unique oneto go from start to finish in such a short amount of time. We also want this to be a good time for everyone here, so there will be some fun surprises planned throughout the workday to keep our people enthused and awake.”

The public can stay apprised of the night’s events via a live camera feed on crowleywebb.com, as well as Twitter and Facebook updates.

The day will begin at 9am, with a kickoff meeting with You and Who, with rough ideas presented for approval at 6pm. The night shift will then begin and the agency’s employees will work until morning (pajamas optional). The work will be presented to You and Who by the official end of the workday at 10am.

You and Who will also receive a full-page ad in an upcoming issue of Business First. The publication partnered with Crowley Webb for the contest.
