GSD&M Idea City announced this week the hire of Jefferson Burruss as Executive Producer in the agency’s Integrated Production department. Burruss is charged with leading the digital production team and further expanding the agency’s expertise in the digital arena.

Burruss arrives in Texas from DDB/Los Angeles where he held the title of director of digital and online and led strategic development of digital initiatives for the agency as well as the Stand Up to Cancer account. Prior to that, he held account director positions at DDB/Los Angeles and Tribal DDB Worldwide/Los Angeles on client accounts including Activision, (PRODUCT) RED, Ameriquest Mortgage Company and eHarmony.
Burruss brings more than 10 years of expertise to the position and is a 2009 Effie Awards and 2001 Cannes Silver Lion award recipient. He holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia Commonwealth in Richmond.
