G2, a top-five global activation marketing agency, today announced the appointments of Geoff Council and Rene Lehouillier as co-Executive Creative Directors for G2 USA’s Relationship Marketing practice. Previously, Council and Lehouillier served as Group Creative Directors for G2’s RM practice. With the promotions, both will report to Wendy Lurrie, President, Relationship Marketing practice, G2 USA.
Council will oversee creative duties across all pharmaceutical businesses for G2 USA’s Relationship Marketing practice. Lehouillier will oversee creative duties for all non-pharma business in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Previously, Council served as Group Creative Director at G2 USA for three years, overseeing creative work for Boehringer Ingelheim and Eli Lilly. Prior to joining G2, Council served as Creative Director at agencies including Euro RSCG, Draft, Ogilvy and Isocurve.
Lehouillier joined G2 USA as Group Creative Director in February 2010, and brings more than 25 years of Relationship Marketing experience. Prior agency experience includes Brierley & Partners, Ogilvy Los Angeles and Ogilvy New York.
Council and Lehouillier will co-lead the RM creative department on a US basis, and have joint responsibility for creative direction across all of G2 USA’s Relationship Marketing practice.
