Draftfcb Healthcare Welcomes Diane DePaolis

draftfcbDraftfcb Healthcare announced today that Diane DePaolis has joined the agency as EVP, Creative Director/Branding.

DePaolis’ role is newly created to further the scope of the agency’s creative offering with a dedicated branding center of excellence. A hallmark of the phenomenal success and growth of Draftfcb Healthcare, the leading Interpublic healthcare network, is its client-focused commitment to anticipating needs and effectively executing campaigns across all communications channels.

“Over the years, many of our clients have requested our involvement earlier in the commercial development process, when compounds are in Phase II or III, but don’t require a full agency AOR,” says Dana Maiman, CEO of all Draftfcb operations in New York. “Integrating Diane with the team we will be building around her creates a unique capability, allowing us to anticipate and respond early and effectively to clients needs. We have been doing branding forever so we did not set up a ‘new’ division, as the goal here is to utilize, integrate and synergize the vast knowledge and depth of experience found throughout the Draftfcb Healthcare agencies.”

DePaolis was most recently a SVP, Creative Director at Y Brands in New York, responsible for global branding programs for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer clients such as Merck, Allegan, Baxter, Takeda, The Gap and Johnson & Johnson. Prior to Y Brands, DePaolis was a Partner at G2 Worldwide, where she directed the branding design strategy, development and implementation for clients such as Ramada Worldwide, McAfee Security, Underwriters Laboratories and Kmart.

According to Rich Levy, EVP, Chief Creative Officer of Draftfcb Healthcare, “Diane is one of the leading authorities on brand identity development. Her proven approach and process is based on creating the essential elements, systems and guidelines needed to create a compelling brand experience. We are absolutely confident that Diane will lead the way in developing new and equally successful branding campaigns for our clients.” DePaolis will report to Mr. Levy.
