Draftfcb Chicago announced today that it has elevated SVP, Group Management Director Dawn Baskin to lead the agency’s business development efforts. In her new role, Baskin will be a member of the agency’s senior leadership team and report to agency President Michael Fassnacht, while continuing to work closely with Nick Paul, who in March was promoted to oversee new business efforts across North America.
With over 18 years of global marketing experience, Baskin began her career in New York at Lowe Advertising and MTV Networks before relocating to Chicago in 1995. Since then, Baskin has helped develop global brands including Visa, Frito-Lay, eBay and Motorola, specializing in strategic partnerships with MTV, NFL, Olympics and Disney.

“We are extremely proud that, in 2010 alone, Draftfcb Chicago has welcomed new work from clients such as Volkswagen, State Farm, Sony, Valspar, Kikkoman, Jack Daniels and Dow, among others,” said Draftfcb Chicago President Michael Fassnacht. “Under Dawn’s leadership, we’re confident the business development team will continue to champion the agency and our unique, holistic offering in the marketplace.”
Involved in the industry, Baskin has been a co-chair of the PMA Annual Conference and a speaker at PromoPower in New Delhi, India. A resident of Chicago, and certified yoga instructor, Baskin and husband Marc have two sons, ages 10 and five.
