Now Available! 4A’s 2021 Diversity in Agencies Survey Report

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are paramount to the success of an organization. The year 2021, across all industries, brought a newfound appreciation and urgency to ensure that the workplace is welcoming to all. The survey was voluntary, and data was collected from independent and holding company agencies, both members and non-members. The data gathered remains confidential and only aggregated data will be shared externally.

Background

The need for industry data, not diluted by brand, ad tech or consulting information was critical to truly analyze and identify where the real challenges exist. As we look ahead, the survey will allow us to measure accurately, define challenges, test and measure the rate of change over time, and hold ourselves as an industry and as individual agencies accountable. The survey will help provide a roadmap of where we need to go and will help us determine how we need to get there, all the while measuring in quantifiable ways the acceleration of progress.

As an industry, sustainable change is rooted in being able to measure progress. If we are to be changemakers we need to take bold steps. The survey provides the base on which we can build a better culture of belonging. Where we can establish and maintain a culture that shifts from awareness to empathy, and actively demonstrates inclusive leadership behaviors that cultivate a greater sense of trust amongst the industry, with our people and with our clients.

The cost for 4A’s members that did not participate in the study is $350 for the PDF Report or $500 for the PDF report plus access to the Digital Dashboard. The cost for non-4A’s members is $750 for the PDF Report plus access to the Digital Dashboard.
