Jody Berg
Principal & President
Jody founded Media Works in 1989 afterworking in several top agencies in Baltimore for over ten years. She worked her way up from media estimator and buyer to media supervisor and finally Vice-President Media Director, before deciding to open her own Media Buying/Planning Service. The goals which Jody started Media Works with are still very important to her today - to treat each client's business as if it were her own with a personalized style and a hands on approach. Jody has worked with a wide range of clients including financial, Media, Healthcare, Entertainment and Retail. Jody earned her degree from The School Of Public Communications at Boston University.
Michele Selby
Executive Vice President
Michele joined Media Works in May 2006 after 20 years workign at TBC Advertising where she was most recently Media Director. Michele brings a wealth of experience and knowledge working iwth all types of clients, concentrating primarily with retail accounts, fast food, travel, healthcare, and gaming. Believing the best way to stay connected to the ever-changing media landscape is to actually do the work, Michele not only managed a team of 10 people, but also personally handled the media planning and buying for several of TBC's largest clients. Michele graduated from Goucher College with a mass Communications degree.
Amy Wisner
Vice President
Amy has been part of the Media Works' team for nine years. Her experience negotiating tough markets has insured client's low rates and useful added-value. all aspects of the planning and buying process including market and demographic reseasrch, sponsorships, promotional tie-ins, and make-goods are handled with meticulous detail. Amy also takes on a supervisory role on a multi-million dollar account that involves numerous large markets and several national branding initiatives. Creating great working relationships with her clients and sales reps helps her accounts run in a seamless fashion. Amy has experience working with a range of clients including financial, healthcare, and automotive. Amy earned a degree in communications at Villanova University and is currently working to obtain her MBA.
Tami Frey
Vice President
Tami first joined Media Works more than a decade ago. With her strong leadership and client relations, we rely on her to manage and grow the new Charlotte office. In 2006 Tami relocated to North Carolina and worked briefly for a local agency as Media Director. She decided to re-join Media Works to manage and develop our expansion into Charlotte. Tami has planning and buying experience with a broad range of clients and categories. Her attention to detail and love of media research are two attributes that continually make her a great resource for every client.
Chris Walbert
Digital Specialist
The digital component of our media plans is carefully strategized, planned, tracked and analyzed for each of our clients. We are very excited to have Chris on our team, because we knew his proven track record at Medifast would take our cleints' interactive campaigns to the next level. he introduced numerous interactive media componenets to the Medifast media plan which lead to triple online sales. In just two years he grew the online affiliate marketing program from $1,000 a month to over $1 million in sales. Chris does not allow budgetary constraints to limit the online capabilities of our clients. he is able to come up with cost effective interactive plans on any size budget. He has become an invaluable asset to our local cleints who are just getting their feet wet with online advertising. Chris graduated from Villa Julie College with a Business Communications degree.
