Jim Brown
Partner/CEO
Jim spent 15 years as a sales manager for TV stations in Omaha, Phoenix, Wichita and Kansas City. This other-side-of-the-desk experience gives him an insider’s understanding of content and distribution models. His vast media experience has made him remarkably astute in sensing a good deal, something our clients appreciate. Jim has a true passion for healthcare. He regularly attends the most important healthcare industry conferences and is a frequently sought-after speaker at those same events. Although Jim holds an MBA from Creighton, he’s a Jayhawk through and through.
Shan Neely
Partner/Creative Director
Shan heads up the creative team, providing strategic leadership and inspiration. He started his career in Oklahoma, heading up an award-winning in-house creative department for Harold’s, a specialty apparel chain. After Harold’s, he moved to Kansas City and spent the next ten years at a larger shop, lending his creative touch to a variety of brands, including Christopher Elbow Chocolates, Thrifty Car Rental, Bayer Advantage, USAA and Capital One. Shan’s a 1988 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Alexis Bossi
VP, Consumer Engagement
Alexis brings a diverse media background to MBB with experience planning and buying across all media channels, both nationally and locally, even down to the trade area. Alexis is passionate about immersing herself in her client’s business, understanding their objectives and working collaboratively to develop strategic, integrated plans. Alexis holds a Marketing degree from Miami University.
Steven Burnett
VP, Operations
As Vice President of Agency Operations, Steven has 20 years of agency experience in everything from managing client relationships and project strategy to leading website builds and lead gen projects. While Steven can pretty much do it all, his specialty is digital strategy and overdelivering on client expectations.
Garrett Street
VP, Executive Creative Director
Garrett has concepted and developed award-winning copy for a wide variety of brands in virtually every category. He has more than 18 years of experience in the advertising industry, working on everything from big brands to scrappy start-ups. In his spare time, he enjoys mentoring young creative minds and running marathons without training.
Amanda Mikuls
VP, Account
Amanda has developed deep experience in CPG, finance and retail categories. She has worked on a variety of clients including Sonic Drive-In, Applebee’s, At Home, Weight Watchers, and Yoplait. She’s a firm believer in working closely and collaboratively with all disciplines to develop and execute rich campaigns to move our clients’ businesses forward. Amanda currently leads the MBB account management team.
Richard Cherra
VP, Strategy
Richard serves as the guardian of our clients’ brands –providing strategic guidance and the voice of our clients’ consumers. With 27 years of industry experience, Richard excels at leading our teams through a diverse range of projects, from brand development to integrated campaigns, as well as enterprise- level website development. He quickly sees through the clutter to identify a problem and present a logical solution appropriate for the business requirements.
