Karen Laughlin
CEO
As CEO, Karen provides strategic leadership and manages the overall operations of LMO. With 24+ years’ experience in marketing and advertising on both the client and agency sides of the business, she sets the company’s vision, goals, and strategies while ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. In addition to strategic leadership, she manages operations, finance, client management, industry knowledge, marketing and corporate governance and compliance. A subject matter expert in digital strategy, she has a proven track record of delivering on KPIs, growing programs, turning data points into actionable strategies and forming strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Chris Laughlin
President
For over 28 years, Chris has shown expertise in building client relationships, managing finance and business strategy and executing fully integrated marketing programs. His background in agency, corporate and vendor settings lends to his ability to understand the full scope of targeting audiences as well as a keen ability to discern challenges and see all sides of an issue. His work in government, military, education, consumer and non-profit arenas offers a much sought-after depth of perspective. Chris takes a hands-on approach with all clients and is focused on the success and well-being of those both on the LMO team, as well as partners and customers. Chris ensures all client deliverables meet the high level of quality set forth by LMO standards.
Jessica Boyle
Public Relations and Account Director
Jessica is the agency’s senior representative on key accounts. She has 25 years of experience managing client relationships, leading strategy development and supervising Account teams executing national campaigns. Jessica manages and plans clients’ short- and long-term marketing strategies while developing close relationships with top client management. She assumes final responsibility for the agency’s recommendations and performance and, together with its Media and Creative Directors, is responsible for its marketing product. Her approach combines strategic
vision with hands-on execution. She takes ownership of final deliverables while empowering her teams to innovate and excel.
Sarah Spatafora
Media Director
Sarah oversees the management of LMO’s media strategy/planning and provides guidance to ensure that work is on strategy, on time and within budget. She supervises the media department’s campaign execution while stimulating and challenging the team to produce innovative and effective solutions for clients. Each step along the way, Sarah works directly with clients to ensure campaign goals are being achieved. With her comprehensive understanding of digital engagement data, Sarah regularly executes A/B testing on messaging options and reports results to assist in making adjustments to maximize media effectiveness. She is an expert in targeted media planning, placement, purchasing, analytics and reporting, with 18 years of experience.
Oronde Vaughan
Creative Director
Oronde has more than 25 years of experience in advertising and marketing creative materials development. Oronde’s multidisciplinary approach incorporates design thinking to produce strategy-driven campaigns, assets, materials and targeted messaging. At LMO, he directs all phases of creative work for assigned accounts, from concept development through execution. Throughout his career, he’s led groups of talented art directors, graphic designers and copywriters to maintain the agency’s creative standards. He has developed creative for a wide range of public and private sector clients, including over 12 years dedicated to recruiting for the Army National Guard and six years servicing the U.S. Coast Guard.
